Learn from the best to be a human with compassion. That's the solid conclusion on the poem's central idea. Flawless narration on earth and comparative idea on human's character & acts giving this poem a natural feeling. It was good and I glad after read it. Excellent.

It is a beautiful, sweet tribute to the devilish lie of 'mother earth.' Whereas the Bible says God gives us all rain from heaven and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness, and that all is from His hand and all obeys Him. While He did form man from the dust of the earth, He never refers to the earth as a mother. I hope you are not terribly offended by my saying so. It is, again, a very sweet tribute, but alas, misdirected.
