The poet skillfully opened eyes of readers. Yes, nothing is the end of the world. As the saying goes in Hindi, AAP NEHI TOU AOR SOHI...….. The poem is an inspirational one. Thank you for sharing, poet! +++++10++++

The message which I wanted to give through this poem has been received and lauded by my friends. This is my reward. Let us do whatever we can to save our endangered birds and animals around us from dehydration or otherwise. Thank you for such a thoughtful feedback.

Nature has many cuties and beauties. Unfortunately many are getting extinct because of man's blurred vision! The house sparrow is nowhere to be seen! With the sudden variations in climate, many are dying! In extreme heat if we keep some water in the open space the birds can quench their thirst! Thus our duties extend beyond duties! A cute little write, so thoughtful!

You have very nicely taken stock of the present situation which calls for drastic steps at all levels and a people's active participation to check its movement from bad to worse. Thanks, Valsa ji, for your kind review and for the words of appreciation.

Rajnish ji, this is a magnificent poem very close to my heart. Right from my childhood, i have been very close to nature, watching carefully its vital presence through birds, trees, insects, flowers, leaves and so on. During my walks in Deer Park in Delhi, i have noticed many shortcomings, where due to dirt and pollution birds and plants die.We people live so indifferent and unconcerned about our environment.

Since I am a follower of your poetry, I know about your love for nature and things, big or small, which are there all around us to enrich our world. I too share you thoughts about peoples' lack of concern for small plants and birds- even in designated parks. This is so painful.

Our vision has limited range. All beauties are not perceived easily. But there are many supernatural mysterious beauties remaining around us. We have many duties beyond duties. Duties are responsibility with beauty of righteousness. A nice poem is beautifully penned...10

Very thoughtful of you to choose this subject for your fluent poetry in these hot and humid days. A poet's mind cannot be indifferent to the sufferings of birds and other inhabitants in nature. Loved this poem for evoking awareness in the readers' minds.

These tiny creatures lend so much beauty to our surroundings and are an integral part of it. So, it is incumbent upon us to understand their basic needs to ensure their survival. Thanks, Khairul Ahsan.

We must save beautiful partners of our environment like birds and animals from extreme heat and temperature by providing water in bowls. This is our duties beyond duties. A great poem.

Yes, this is the collective responsibility of all citizens. Some people are doing it but much needs to be done in a big way. You will be surprised to know that several birds and animals have recently died in Hauz Khas Deer Park in New Delhi as the ponds had dried there. I must thank you for supporting the cause, Kumarmani ji.

Hats off to you, Robert, for taking a lead for the protection of birds already. I hope others will also take a cue from that and provide adequate water every day for their consumption and /or bathing, frolic etc.

Dear Friend, thanks for supporting the issue which has, by now, assumed global proportions. But, as you have rightly pointed out, all people should join hands to act for the protection of these magnificent creatures of nature.
