Dumb & Blind Poem by RACHEL ZARANTONELLO

Dumb & Blind

Love is a fool's game
It leaves you dumb & blind
The signs are all there,
but you don't really seem to mind
Accepting faults so easy, because
of how they make you feel
Breaking you more each day
as your heart they try to steal
Do I really allow them to hurt me?
Is this what I crave?
I just want to have some fun
and they love to misbehave
Why do I pick the wrong ones
every single time?
They start out a different person.
An incredible, amazing, great guy
How much can I handle?
Before I'm completely through?
Do you really care about them?
Or just what they do to you?
