Although you write comes from long ago, it has the same significance for today. My own father was injured at the battle of the Somme but he never spoke about it. All those killed in conflict deserve better than a 'Small Red Poppy' once a year. I quote the finish of Wilfred Owens great poem: - 'The old Lie: Dulce et decorum est Pro patria mori.' You have written just as powerful a poem yourself. As a writer you are a star.
