Really amazing poem, there is so much to live and fight for and nature gives us hope.
You say this is a poem of DEPRESSION, that it's not about depression, but is the actual experience of depression. And I can see that clearly, you have fulfilled the poetic task you gave yourself. BUT I also see this poem as a release from depression: you have used words and images to free yourself from a weight which is paralyzing, and transform depression into the common sorrow of being human. This is a good transformation because it increases your liberation and also shows compassion for other The journey of this poem goes from the mind which thinks and draws definite conclusions (I am alone and depressed) to the heart which feels deeply self and others and lives in an open spirit (I'm sad like so many others, but I see and celebrate the beauty of things and share the beauty with others in my poem) .
