Duchess Poem by marc molchan

Duchess

passion for a tea
transgress all that follows
allow someone to grace you
someone to follow
evenings are carefree
not sombre curtains drawn
the latitude of being the skies
over the lawn sherry
so work the art the peak
below our stars eventual
kiss for brief entourage assembled
light longing plate and silver
we wait leaving
our desires so noticeable
our refrain our purchase prowess
our lament o lurid smiles
soon our dame our honesty
bequeath us we retire
the seeds of our delight
soft ease like water touch
aglow our fallow tonight
till tomorrow dawns for us
moon and twilight love and sealed
journey and makeup
we bend
