Dual At The Jukebox Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Dual At The Jukebox

Rating: 5.0

Two damn outlaws
Each in own right
Fighting at the jukebox
Each needing their own songs

Two toonies for the killing
First for the modest billing
Second for the night's chilling
Outlaws dying in the reckoning

Two lonesome strangers...testing
In the bad moon's rising
Warring for the surrendering
There's a Peace Train coming

Two beings of a human kind
Lost in one night's solace
Crying searchin' for stolen tears
Two outlaws...each in their own right

I have seen it happen as well - a really good poem on a moment in life - a 10
