Heh! ! Carl can be very harsh at times... But I feel this is a very imaginative piece Vaibav.. True it is kinda short, but very nice imagery... A different poem. cheers Shan
Well, this poem was disappointing, Vaibhav, for after the fine three lines, the fourth and concluding line was disappointing and I felt there should have been more to this brief poem. A poet of your impressive ability should have been able to carry the ideas you expressed a bit further and to a more satisfying conclusion. Carl.
Brilliant. If you can find that ant send it my way, I would like to go for a ride, too. A few words say much. Concise, vivid, imaginative and enjoyable to read. Thanks for sharing.10+
A surrealistic picture.........deep and profound. A poet's domain of imagination and imagery..............If u find some time please read one of my earlier work...Dream....
Great piece of work Vaibhav - your use of imagery is impressive...the black water and the ant -10
fantastic, as always, my friend! loved the poem. thank you.
i have never been drunk, but i get what you said.. from stories told to me.. it is the same.
the reality and the illusion...good symbolic write...the black water and the ant are the symbols you use well there...thanks...10
'and frightened the ant i flew on'...just in four lines you come out with lovely imagery...reality getting merged with illusion..almost like a dream..senses are always drunk either with joy or despair..the black water here colors the poem...despair..lovely
Now you must have been pretty drunk to fly on an ant! ! Great imagination and a twist at the finish. Well done. Karin
