In the depths of darkness, troubled souls,
Caught in the grip of a destructive toll,
There is so much pain that souls suffering grief,
With so much sadness it's hard to keep belief.
Bad things happen and it's unfortunate to see,
Souls living in despair unable to break free,
A battle waged within, a desperate strife,
For the ones ensnared in the chains of life.
More costly than diamond, More costly than gold,
For this can make you both old and cold,
Lover of the rich, and hubby of the poor,
It can be found down the street, and maybe next door.
In shattered dreams and broken trust,
Lies the aftermath, where hope turns to dust.
A heart once vibrant, now dulled and decayed,
By the poison injected, choices betrayed.
We wonder when will God take away His anger,
Streets filled with violence and present danger,
Even the drugs are poisoned by other drugs,
Neighborhoods filled with gangsters and thugs,
For the weighs are so very heavy,
A relentless pursuit of highs, so unsteady,
the sorrow it bring is a sight to behold
For it can make you lost or fold
Oh, drugs addict, your spirit cries,
Yearning for redemption, to touch the skies.
In the depths of despair, a flicker remains,
A flame of resilience, a chance to break chains.
Seek the light that pierces through the haze,
Embrace the truth, unravel life's maze.
For within your being, strength does reside,
To reclaim your worth, to heal and abide.
With compassion's touch and love's gentle hand,
Rebuild the shattered pieces, help you stand.
Extend a lifeline, a beacon of hope,
To guide you on a path where healing can cope.
Drugs addict, know this truth profound,
Your worth is not lost, it can still be found.
Reach out for support, let healing begin,
A journey awaits, for your soul to win.
May understanding replace judgment's glare,
And empathy weave a tapestry of care.
For in the depths of addiction's strife,
Lies a human spirit, longing for life.
Let's unite in compassion's embrace,
To uplift, empower, and help erase,
The stigma and pain that addiction imparts,
To heal the wounded souls, mend broken hearts.
Drugs addict, there's hope in every breath,
A chance to recover from the grip of death,
With love, support, and strength from above,
Find solace, redemption, and the power to love.
