Drowning In Colours Poem by douglas lewis

Drowning In Colours

Six feet down
these wooden stairs
the flowers do
engulf me.
Their scents are
so entangling.
Their colours flood
and dominate my sky.
Like a drowning.
I grasp onto
a single blade of sun.
