I had a dear friend of mine drown, while saving another friend of ours....a long time ago, Fourth of July weekend.I still bothers me to be near the ocean, on that holiday. The mighty strength of the water, should be respected...as she quickly and u kindly swallowed my friend, and all the dreams he had. Wonderful poem, for such a young talent. PEACE

Excellent poem, drowning is one of my fears and this poem was very frightening for me. Keep writing, I look forward to reading more of your poems.
