The title of this one attracted me, Nika. I recently posted a poem titled Surfeit which also refers to a drive home and which, like this one of yours, I started years ago and recently came back to and finished. -Glen

Thanks for the kind remarks Glen. Isn't it something how the poems we cast aside have a way of finding us again?

When life moves at a very slow pace, we feel bored! Silence sometimes can be killing too! A busy day with buzzing activities might tire us but never bore us! A beautiful write Nika!

I remember that time you were a receptionist and found the experience mind-numbing and body-crushing. I seem to recall sending you a fanciful fantasy to spark your inner self, not a poem, a prose passage. In any case, reading the poem with its vivid imagery has twisted me out of shape. I'm going out on my balcony for a blast of cold air.
