Without friends he set out on a drinking voyage, unfortunately joined by friends who would not leave until the wine jar is empty and the night is satisfied. The use of nature and natural phenomenon to express this piece is just classical and masterpiece(ful) . It's a perfection.

I have given my comments upon this famous poem of Li Po, and those comments remain the same, nothing new. Today is his poem again The Classic Poem Of The Day.

One: a reflection on the pleasures and sorrows of drinking alcohol. The poem's central theme is the speaker's relationship with wine and how it affects his consciousness and perception of the world around him.

We have a lesson to learn here that we share life's joys when sober. Drunk, each goes a separate way. Wonderful

I love this poem! I would like to learn more about different styles of poems and different terminology. This poem is almost surreal. He's drinking with the moon, the flowers, and his shadow. He's enticing the moon with his ale. I guess it's called personification when you talk about the moon and your shadow like they're real people. This poem really takes you on a beautiful trip. The moon and his shadow are dancing together and having a splendid time, and when they part ways, they'll meet again in the milky way. Li Po would have been a fun guy to drink with.
