The world gets too hard for you
so you drink it away.
Your children need you
and you drink them away,
ripping away what’s left
of that place called home.
Husband there no more.
Dead
Through that suicidal crime scene
that never meant to be,
the world surrounds you,
but you can't see
through the surrounding four walls.
Drinking away
this lifeless house of alcohol.
