What a lovely poem this is! I love the passion, I love the desires, I love the purity of the poem. The passion is so absorbing! 'Do not be dry Drink me in Drink me in' - Love, desire, passion and kindness - all are here, to be drunk, to be cool in drought. And of course, the notes are no less beautiful!

A beautiful entreaty to desire and a longing for fulfillment... the imagery is so very magical... wonderfully penned my friend.

The title is repeated three times in the poem as it must be because it is the poem's beating heart. It can be both an invitation and a request, a double meaning which is wonderfully charged with passion. I found myself repeating it yet again at the end because it functions as a permission, an encouragement for passion. This is the kind of poem I call a THRESHOLD: at the end of such poems, the words fall away, a doorway opens and the people must ACT DECISIVELY. The poem has completed its mission; the rest is up to the people involved.

Vividly passionate. Feeling flows, naturally and are absorbed with great ease.
