Drifting On A Memory

Drifting on a Memory

I like my life just the way it is. I come and go, owing nothing to anyone. I am indebted to no one. I am responsible for my actions and no one else.

I am footloose and fancy-free, dancing in the sky. The only one left in the nest, I am growing toward that fulfillment of my destiny. The tender breeze catches my wings, elevating me to higher planes. Drifting now, I ride a melody high above the clouds.

I am the majestic eagle, floating in the grace of the supernatural. Poised for greatness, gentle breezes carry me. I sail on warm winds, buoyant as I hover above the earth.

I am suspended in a pleasant emotion that tastes sweet on my lips, with sunshine warming my face. Gliding effortlessly, I refuse to let worries disturb my tranquility. I am one with everything as I feel the earth move beneath me, lifted into the sky by a rush of updraft. A cool breeze rushes through my body, and life's sweet embrace takes me to paradise.

Now at rest, I travel on peaceful journeys. I have been freed to explore the universe, no longer tethered by my physical form. I see the manifestation of the Most High's blessings. Submerged in glorified life, I am not seeking a mere glimpse of the divine's glory.

The Earth Goddess embraces me and grants me the gift of foresight. I can now see events from the future, present, and past. Corrections to whimsical movements I've made ease my journey to peace. Yes, I have been given a flight, and I am free to soar in the sky.

Never again shall I let mundane strife keep me down. I have flown with eagles above both high and low mountains. I have witnessed sights of bewilderment and wonder. Chances are granted once, so when will you start to enjoy them?

Saving for old age can be wise, but what if you don't make it? Then what? It would have all been in vain. Fly with me today, for tomorrow is never guaranteed to anyone.

Whether you leave as a wealthy person or a pauper, you still leave us. Worrying changes nothing, so why burden yourself? Learn to fly and spread your wings with me. Set your soul free to drift on a memory.
