Drifting Poem by Suki Nakamura

Drifting

i have been standing here
and people have passed me by
it is getting dark and i must be foolish
to wait that long until then when the streets
start to light themselves with madness
the walls dress themselves with crazy neon
and some windows started to blink

and then i cried and decided to drift away
like a dark cloud carried by the hairy wind
like a scream without any syllable
inside me i shall burst but you shall never know
I'll waste this life but i shall have another one
not here, and not anymore for you.
