Dreamt A Reality Poem by Mikey Estrada

Dreamt A Reality

After all the time we spent separated, there is no use in making things complicated about how things were once situated. After all the animosity circulated, we left each other isolated. What made us become dreadfully decapitated.

At one point time I thought we were meant to be. Living an alternate reality where you were the one who gave me hospitality. A dream it was that blocked my actuality.

Alternate reality took the role of actuality and the result of it became me unforeseen brutality.

A life where you made me complete was brought down by defeat. Broken hearted with a down beat it felt like a time I wanted to delet because it wasn't worth the record kept like a receipt.

Now things are coming back around but if already went up in smoke it can only come down in flames. I'm done with those games and it's better left with no type of counter claims.

No worth walking back if it all derailed off the track. I can work forward and hope for some positive feedback but I don't know if I really want to go back.
