'Dreams Of Love's Embrace' Poem by CHERRY GADINGAN

'Dreams Of Love's Embrace'

In the land of dreams, my heart takes flight,
Where I yearn for you, day and night.
To hold you close, oh, how I wish,
In this love, so pure, a heartfelt dish.

To hug and kiss you, oh, so sweet,
In your embrace, love's complete.
To care for you, in every way,
Is the promise I make, come what may.

Beside you, in slumber, I'd find my place,
Wiping sweat when tired, in your warm embrace.
Cooking for you, a feast for two,
These dreams I have, all because of you.

Long-distance may test our love's embrace,
Time may pass at its own pace.
But in my heart, you'll forever be,
A treasure, a love, for all to see.

Through changes and miles, our love's the same,
In my heart, you hold a cherished flame.
I love you deeply, this you must know,
In every dream, my love for you will glow.
