this makes me think if anybody is dreaming about something worth fighting for anymore, but i guess you have to imagine darkness is always ready for the ride, seems like far away from anywhere and i am back home these days...a jigsaw piece to start, setting stage for future events, and then the last few lines grab the thinking, maybe do what hemmingway did, few uppers, little red wine, then sail away before noon, recording thoughts along the way, , , , , the dawn of oblivion.....i like that line much....one way or another you may save the world .

Superb write. We all see life through the creative lens we have been given. I have always loved the books of Hemingway. Especially, 'The Sun Also Rises'. Always your friend, Sandra

Thank you for finding me so that I could find you. Excellent poem. Ahhh, ... the despair expressed by lonesome howling and unkempt graves. And my delight today: a reminder of the redemption and consolation that can be found in words.
