Read this after reading your Member Poem of the day - you have a sad story indeed to tell, but we often develop an inner strength through difficult life experiences and such experiences turn us into more understanding and better people. I speak from personal experience myself.

This is why we dream. It many times takes us out of reality but it also gives us something powerful to hold on to. What I love about a dream is no one can take them away from you. When you write about it as you did with this great poem, you lock it down forever. Thank you for sharing it with the world. J. L.

Never let the Hope inside you die, after the rains there will be a sunshine and who knows you will be lucky to see a rainbow as well. Hope for the best in life :)

This speaks of the power of love. If, no matter how terrible life can be, we find one memory pure and beautiful which evokes the tender feeling of Love, that can be just enough to get us to want to be, another day. Nice poem.

Excellent poem! I almost felt like I was there- I liked the repetition of 'You never hurt me You never sent me away You always loved me In your own special way' good work! !

Dave, maybe your childhood is not so proud to remember...well i know a plant if we not care since it was small maybe not be tall...but who can deny the future of that plant? who can predict the destiny...When you were fall you know you know that there's a harm, but past is past and future will overlay your history, hide the grey with colorful future...If you not beloved by someone, it just that one and ou still beloved by many as long as you show your heart, wash the pain and give the sincere feeling...protect your soul and your love will stay with everyone...There's no end to try and your future is waiting, forget the past Dave, chase for anew...take this chance to taste and cheer what still left for you.._Unwritten Soul

Interesting poem here. Sounds like a story with secrets waiting to be told. May I point out in the first line of the sixth stanza: the word lied seems not to be what you meant. Invite you to read mine - I Cannot Return - Adeline
