This poem is the cautionary response to the the first one on reversing time. It may have been written by you first but it still speaks soberly to the giddy wishes of the other poem. But you know this well, RoseAnn: a poem is meant to be a small epiphany, not the whole answer, and having spoken its token of wisdom, it withdraws for the next poem to offer its token, and then the next... That's why Keats could write THE POETRY OF EARTH NEVER CEASES, and that's why I can write 268 poems and you can write over 2000 poems. Our poems will continue to emerge from that INTERIOR SPIRITUALITY you cite in the first stanza. And whether they give voice to a vision as in TIME REVERSED or confront the sorrow of loss as in DREAMS, they will continue to speak the truth as we experience it. We can be proud of our missions of poetry! !
