In the shadows deep where dreams unfold,
man lays still though thoughts have sailed,
a world unseen from beyond the gaze,
where knowledge blooms in hidden ways,
he asks the night a question unknown,
is it the world we touch and see im in,
or a dream from a realm of ultimate sin,
which of these am i surly locked in,
the stars above the earth below,
all speak in whispers none can know,
yet in the mind such a fire burns,
and through doubt the seeker learns,
the shadows cast with a sense of grace,
are fleeting and fading in their place,
for within the soul a light does shine,
a truth unchanging clear divine,
and so the journey calls the wise,
to rise above beyond the skies,
to seek the truth to know the norm,
and in that truth transcend our form,
for all we see is but a dream,
a reflection in a glassy stream,
the real is hidden far and away,
yet within us all it guides our way.
