Dreams Poem by Job Ombati

Dreams

Dreams are
A blessing and a curse
A rare opportunity to actualize fantasies
or
To feel distilled pain
or an injection of adrenaline distillate

Jojo, a seasoned politician -
Never lost an election
Had his -
All votes were safely in the box
Then
The next moment
They were flying out!

Little Dennis
Had tea before bed
Then his came -
He was on a bushy stretch
And all alone
Perfect for his groaning bladder!

Tina had hers -
Sitting at the mahogany table
She swung on the shwivel chair
And before her all heads
And she was barking orders

Robo sat at a table
And across
The girl of dreams
Finally, she'd consented
To celebrate, he had six Tuskers
That night -
He had his!

Jojo, little Dennis, Tina, Robo
ALL,
Finally WOKE UP!
