Dreaming Of L. A. Poem by Cowboy Ron Williams

Dreaming Of L. A.

Rating: 5.0

She's not expecting
me, I'm sure.
She's been let down
so much before.
If I show up
and ring her bell
would that cause chaos
or go well?
Though this may sound
absurd to you,
in my dreams
she dreams
about me, too!
Just dreaming of L. A.
so very far away.
Perhaps I'll go some day.

You broaden your mind, and I'll mind the broads!

Sounds like you better strike out after gold and see how it pans out!

Cowboy, somehow I get the feeling that in this case, L.A. is not a place, but a PERSON. Am I correct?

It's hard to slip anything past you, isn't it, Kim?

Love strikes anywhere...anytime... Fate comes like a thief in the night. A lovely poem so beautifully expressed.
