It is a beautiful poem. Love is there, admiration, charm - I feel it.. Your hero probably loves the unusual girl or the woman. It appears from the poem that it dividing lovers big distance. Also a little optimism and hope that it will change. Hero dreams - must be enough and in dreams, which are becoming so real, that the hero is surviving, and evocations it like in reality. The 'Belle of the night' is becoming nicer than what the day is planning. And maybe your hero should look around, isn't his happiness in the vicinity, reach?
