askance (adverb) " with an attitude or look of suspicion or disapproval" Are you saying your imagination ran askance? I may be wrong, but it seems you are using askance as an adjective. hmm? " I heaved their unboxed tuxedoed beloved into the pit" this gave me a mild chuckle favorite line: " And laughing lustily sped away…, then I awakened." to MyPoemList I bet you REALLY did it. bri :)
