Draw A Blank Poem by J Sheba Anandhi

Draw A Blank

Upset that they weren't there
When you expected?
Depressed that no one is here
When you needed?
They were there too
In your shoes once,
You can empathize too
If they were on business,
Over time you would draw a blank
As to why you were an anger tank,
Since blood is thicker than water
And by the beneficial forgetful nature,
You'd retain only the good matter for later.
