Congratulations to the North American Poet of Children's books, Jack Prelutsky, Dora Diller sublimest told 5 Full Stars. All your books are very fascinating, perhaps I am still a child in adults clothes, but his poems are all phenomenals

This short poem depends on the meaning we want to give here to the caterpillar and why it is so significant in the poem.

I wrote the poem 'A World With Too Little Time For Humour' inspired by the poem 'Dora Diller' by the poet Jack Prelutsky and dedicated to Jack Prelutsky.

in a world rushing with little time, too little good humour and wit, but too much anger hate and violence, there is a special place and need for good witty poetry; to write such poetry is satisfying and partly a sacred trust, I could write more but I am suddenly all butterflies, which is unusual I am usually a moth in the candle flame

Brilliant and beautifully delivered. Great humour for one and all in large spades. One of the best poetic comedy writers. With warmly welcomed echoes of the late Roald Dahl.

I was wrong, yesterday the same day you won the MODERN prize, Susan Williams had won The MEMBER's prize. The day before yesterday, there was NO ONE, NO POET's NAME at that spot. I am still laughing about your DD, Jack! .....LOL.......A caterpiller in Dora Diller. In The Netherlands we call such a verse EEN GILLER, meaning A LOUDEST SHRILL, . Regards from the Lowlands, I reside on the highest.part. The NL is true flat.

This poem is soooooooooooooooooo very humorous, so aptly funny, a perfect pun and excellent verse, magnificent poem, that the readers have forgotten to mention CONGRATULATIONS on being chosen as the Modern Poem Of The Day. Hurray! ! There was no " The Member Poem Of The Day" , the space was empty. This verse was chosen TWICE, I reckon, but everyone had forgotten to congratulate you, Jack! I give you THRICE

And it made me smile, Jack. You are “up there, ” as far as my knowledge goes, with the best writers of humorous verse. -GK
