open the door and keep the foot mat too someone's gonna come this way through thirsty, tired of strokes of heat In search of water and homely peace the door shall show him the way in maze of darkness, the shine of the day so keep it open............ thanks for sharing this piece..........

'For when we shut the doors of our heart, Even doors left ajar, - will forever hurt! ..' to live with an open heart is harder and harder in the modern world.. but easy ways never lead to truth..thanks for sharing.. :) A.

Interesting poem, doors to the heart should never close, doors to life should be left open, real freedom would be if the doors to our homes could stay unlocked.

I read somewhere that some tribals have no doors to their dwellings. Door is the symbol of conditional thinking and selfishness of mankind. People open doors to only those whom they love. Instead if they keep their doors open and invite all in to be loved at their home how beautiful it would be? Man might have invented door so as to protect what he plundered!

Your poignant conclusion says it all. The doors of the heart must never be closed. Without love life would have no meaning at all.10/10 Warm regards, Sandra

Its an interesting concept of door. Many a things you have aptly put Door - shut or open Hurt and free... Dear Poet... When you say - About the 'Hurt' When the doors are shut... I have a doubt.... At times... Have we not got protected by shutting the doors? ? ? Please include that one theme... A readers humble request it is... Still i am thinking and thinking... Door and its philosophy... Good one..
