Don'tkey! Poem by Ahmud Peerbocus

Don'tkey!

An open door of aspiration
An admiration of hard work
Look Like a power horse
Neither am I!
Pull like a power of a bull
Neither shall I have a horn!
Silent
Throttle
Teeth out to smile
Relentless for a reward
Up the hill
Beneath the sole of my hoof!
The under defining companionship
Of human progress
Salvation DON'T KEY the reward
Of a coward
Hey! Hey! Hey!
Here we go! ! !

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
It is a story of every human kine in the search of a progress with an expectation of a reward. We use the stick and carrot approach. Without the need of understanding the journey of life rather than looking at the outcome of line. At the end we are all looking for the carrot while others hold the stick on our back
