Dont Waste Your Time Poem by Esther Hadassah Sendeza

Dont Waste Your Time

What happens when you have been there before?

Suddenly your heart gets cold.
You recognize the feeling,
You remember the actual events,
And the memories come flooding in.
Your mind completely changes.
A full 180, then your soul is awake.

This place reeks of skeletons and brokenness,
Effluvia and crows of death fill the air.
This place was hard to get out of.
You could barely see the way out,
And you could feel the pain of the arrow through your spine.

But you know your way out now,
The map is engraved in your mind.
So just like that you turn around,
Put on your armour, then start off.
Almost immediately, Quickly.

It's easy to get out now,
Because you've been here before.
There is no need to waste anymore time.
