Don't Talk About Anyone Poem by Randy McClave

Don't Talk About Anyone

I don't talk about he or she
Because I don't want them talking about me,
I don't ever talk about any of them
Nor never do I ever gossip for a whim.
Even though I might know them very well
I do not want my words in their minds to dwell,
Even though they might have done me Ill
Sadness and pain and hurt I do not want them to feel.

I don't talk about either him or her
I don't want no bad feelings between us to occur,
I'll never talk behind anyones back
Honesty and care I do not lack.
I will not ever toss a stone in anyones path
So, I can watch them trip and fall, and then I would laugh,
And never will I lie or make up any stories
As bad medicine is made in sinful laboratories.

I don't talk and will not talk about anyone
They are a person and not a pawn,
Even though they might have hurt me and done me wrong
Pain and hurt and sadness and revenge I never carry along.
If I don't have anything good to say, I will not say a word
Evil and hate from my lips will never be heard,
So, if you think that I will talk about another
Just think, do you think that I'd talk about my sister or brother.
