unfortunately shadows thrive in the world as well as in our own hearts but poets like you throw open the drapes and let the sunshine in
It is exceedingly hard to picture them elsewhere, that is for sure, my dear friend

I believe in neither Heaven nor Hell. But if I DID believe in Hell (which reminds me of a joke) , I'd not wish for anyone to live in Hell. But I would gladly pull trigger on some people. Ask me. bri : )
True, dear poet. When people listen to their evil alter ego, or when they are so intoxicated (by alcohol or power or greed or..) that they are not able to differentiate lies from truth, they bring disaster…
Though I 'didn't care for' AR's poem, I love this one, though I'm still 'in the dark' about who/what the 'Lean Shadows' were/are. Nice rhyming, Ron.
