Don't Let The Devil Shortchange You Poem by Gary James Smith

Don't Let The Devil Shortchange You

DON'T LET THE DEVIL SHORTCHANGE YOU

Don't let the Devil shortchange you
In your quest to search for God
The treasure of Christ's worth..is worth it all
For you can be done with sin for good
O in this life you'll still struggle
But victory over sin can be found
Then one day..glory! ...Raptured to Heaven
Where no more sin shall ever be found!

Your greatest enemy is sin
For it works from the inside out
That's why you need a new nature
It's what Salvation is all about
Maybe you've lost your label
You're born with the stamping of sin
That's why the Lord Jesus most emphatically proclaimed
' ye must be born again'! ! !

How about it my friend
Has Satan thrown you a curve
And you've cowardly held back from searching for God
Then listen! ...For you, I have got a word!
There's a wonderful Saviour called Jesus
Who'll forgive faster than you could ever believe
Repent of your sin...put your complete trust in Him
And the greatest Treasure you'll receive!

Hallelujah, what a Saviour!
