Don't Cry Over The Spilled Milk Poem by Bharati Nayak

Don't Cry Over The Spilled Milk

Life is always in a flow
From past to present,
then from present to tomorrow
Time and tide wait for none.
So we have to use wisely
Our valuable time.
Our hard work and perseverance will surely pay
Hurdles, difficulties and obstacles may come on the way
But, let us not give up or dismay
If we fail in one task, believe that
It is not the end of the world.
If one door is closed,
Many doors may be opened.
We should face life's challenges with courage
Let us not brood over the past
Nor cry over the spilled milk
Know that determination and persistence
Are your winning tricks.
