Don't Cry Again Poem by George Samuel

Don't Cry Again

I see him in your eyes,
The one that'll cheat again,
With every bird across the skies,
Just to drive you insane,
With those blatant lies of his.

I feel him in your voice,
The one that'll break your heart,
With promises out of noise,
That put you on a crossed path,
And pass you to other boys.

I watched you cry,
For the one who's sly,
With bitter tears from your soul,
Wasted on an undeserved fool,
Who only came to dig your gold.

I wish you can heal,
This time and be whole,
With love that does not steal,
Your heart and leave it in a hole,
But preserve it as a treasure in a steel.
