I give FOUR stars, ONE of which is, as agreed upon before you wrote the poem, for mentioning my name, my REAL first name...in 'The Real World'. : )) bri
AND....I wonder if there is a FEMALE creature with some characteristics (NOT so much 'physical' ones, but...) of a satyr. NO, don't tell me.
Re: Your mention in your Poet's Notes that 'Brian, in his characteristic manner, presumed was an intended reference to Satys instead of Stars'. Ha! I KNEW you'd been drinking (booze) . I presumed no such thing, though I DID point out your typo. : )
TYPO is the reason for this poem. I liked it. How often we ignore and move on but in this case Sheeya took it humorously.
BUT don't ignore thia 'satyr feature' which I may have told you about. 'a permanent, exaggerated erection.' THAT could be DISTRACTING! ! bri : )
line 8: I'd alter this VERY SLIGHTLY. lines 10 and 11: You have some editing to do on these, I say. I know you can do it well IF you don't have a hangover from your nighttime of carousing.
Perhaps biotechnology was prevalent at that age as I guess from the bodily combinations.
Interesting poem, there is a touch of humour in your poem. I liked it.
