Don't Worry Poem by Julia Luber

Don't Worry

Some people are maybe afraid to post their poems on PoemHunter
because they wonder, "Well, why would anybody ever buy my book,
if they can read my poetry for free on PoemHunter." Don't worry.
Poetry is sooooo interrupted by advertising and choppy text formatting
all different from the way it looked originally and so technically uncomfortable
and unpleasant to read here, that it is actually likely that more people will
want to read your poetry in quiet uninterrupted book form than amidst
this pell-mell hodgepodge chockablock traffic of advertising and points
and numbers and rankings and comments and interactions amongst so many
poets amongst themselves and each other and all the madness of the social
internet and all the crazy madness of it all. Some people will want to sit
down with a quiet book that much more so and read without interruption.
Don't worry. Some people will still want it the old fashioned way. Don't worry.
