Don't Want To Love (2) Poem by Babalola Jubril

Don't Want To Love (2)

He said, love is good,
But he suffers badly,
Scattered and destroyed,
He lies on his matrimonial's bed, uncomfortably,
Pleading to his legs to raise him up,
And walk him away from love,

" So when I see love,
I will run away "

In a relationship with him/her,
You struggled to live happily,
You smell something fishy,
The future is not bright nor clear,
But you stay helplessly,

" So when I see love,
I will run away "

I am a young man: hardworking and strong,
I fight poverty with all my strength,
Because of many dependents, lifetime debtors,
That stay at the door step of my wealth,

" So when I see love,
I will run away "

Ready to falling in love,
You can swim in the sea for love,
But your lover is expensive,
Your In-laws never build the road for you,
And you are still there,
Is marriage a success?

" So when I see love,
I will run away "
