Don'T Give Up Poem by B.M Lewis

Don'T Give Up

Rating: 3.0

I had to sit down
And weigh the pros and cons
of how much influence
you have had on my life

When you walked
and left me standing alone,
you took a part of me with you
but you haven't realized it

I told myself to give up on you
'Let go; leave it alone. It's not worth it'
but it IS worth it.
YOU are worth it.

So, I got advice from close friends
They told me things i needed to hear.
They told me that you'll listen eventually.
They told me not to give up.

I've made my decision
You mean the world to me
and i'm not going to let you keep walking
I'm going to chase after you

I'm going to get my piece back
I'm going to chain you to my heart
There is only way to get rid of me:
Shoot me; kill me; take my life

I'm going to force it into your head
that i love you
im going to break you down until you get it
I'm NOT giving up.
