Don'T Be A Drain Poem by Jan E Smith

Don'T Be A Drain

The days seem long and laden with pain
My body aches, I can't turn off my brain.

And here I sit, another night, another day
searching for answers on my display.

So much information on this highway to hell
People's opinions and products they sell.

Try this, try that... come pop a pill
Or better yet... just have a strong will.

But whatever you do and whatever you say
Remember to keep your emotions at bay.
