Paul, this sums up every dog lovers feelings about owning and loving a dog (or Dogs) . Every day is a joy and they never let you down with their sheer enjoyment of life. As i get older I understand that all the dogs I have owned have brought something special into my life, and now I can add your poem to it. Very well written and observed. Paul, this poem has everything. It builds images in the readers mind of just how much enjoyment owning a dog brings. It resonates with me as I don't think I would be the same without my dogs around. Thanks for painting a picture in my mind. So well written. Phil Soar
