Doesn't Seem To End Poem by Safiyyah Manjra

Doesn't Seem To End

Rating: 4.5

Empty handed,
Left alone reprimanded,
Demanding that you not be the reason,
I also am trying to break free from this form of induction.

Don't you see you have captured me by my feet?
I'm telling you it doesn't feel sweet.
A total bliss,
Your devilish kiss.

I am so distracted beyond all means.
Trying to reclaim my face on the screens.
I close my eyes and see your face.
I remember once equations were the things I couldn't erase.
But it seems it's more of a game of replace.
The eclipse of you doesn't do justice.

If thinking of you I could resign.
It would be the one thing with my current state I'd conjoin.
