Do Your Best Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

Do Your Best

If you build a little nest,
Build it strong, give it your best.
Don't leave twigs half in the air,
Fill it up with loving care.

If you sing a happy song,
Sing it out, the whole day long.
Don't just hum a little bit,
Let your heart completely hit.

If you paint a flower bright,
Fill it up with sun and light.
Don't leave petals pale and bare,
Color it with all to share.

Whatever work you choose to do,
Give your heart and spirit true.
Whole and bright, let it all be,
A lovely, joyful sight to see.
