Do You See The Full Moon Poem by Max D. Hornbogen

Do You See The Full Moon

Rating: 3.5

Do you see the full moon; it’s wide as my eyes. Can you touch me and feel what I’m feeling?

So do you see the full moon, you know it is wide as my eyes.
There is something in your eyes, I can’t forget. You know I can’t forget those eyes that I am staring into.

So this night will be all right, if you just let me go.
Take me to a place where I can stay, or just lock me away in a room where I can’t move.

Do you see the full moon; it is wide as my eyes. There is deep dark hole that is inside of me; I don’t think I can contain it anymore.

So just let me be, or put me in place where I can’t move.
Sometimes I can feel the air moving around me, in places where I don’t even know?

When I look at this moon, it makes me go insane. So insane, that I can’t contain.

So I take this knife and cut out the part of me that cares for you. Do you see the moon; you know it is wide as your eyes.
