Do You See Me Comments

This piece accurately describes how I feel sometimes in my life. thank you for putting it in words.

I feel the same as Ivory Jimenez. But it's more than that. It's how we feel now, too. We may not know it, but it's affecting our everyday lives. Like PTSD. Similairly, its something hidden deep inside, but triggered by certain things. Often, we need to realize that avoiding those triggers isn't going to work. I find that I overcome my emotional confusion by writing, and by embracing the troubles I've experienced and my own triggers. I find this to be truly representative of our true inner feelings, whether we know it or not.

I love this poem because I can connect to it. There have been so many times that I have felt that I was invisible and it is nice to find someone who may connect with those feelings that I have had in the past.
