Do You Remember Love? Poem by dave lessard

Do You Remember Love?

Do you remember love,
when once it was a fire?
when blood was pulsing fast,
in that moment of desire.

Do you remember love,
when once it was a passion?
when you overdosed on kisses
when you knew no term like ration.

Do you remember love,
when a look could trigger heat?
your body mad with longing,
when two bodies meet?

Do you remember love,
when embraces were the clue?
that took you to an unknown place,
with fuel you never knew?

Do you remember love,
when weeks and months just flew?
when nights were never long enough,
at times, I know, I do.

A very good write about the passions of new love and the rememberance of it. Nicely crafted poem with good rhyme scheme. I enjoyed reading it!
