Do You, My Dear? Poem by michael Smajda

Do You, My Dear?

My dear, are you thinking of me
When I am thinking of you?
While you are there in eternity.
Are you looking down on me?
When I am looking up toward you
Wanting, again, only you, I do see.
Do you still love me in spirit?
As I, faithfully, do toward you.
I am praying for a God-given way
You will show a sign you still do,
Relieving the loneliness I bear
Till, in Heaven, I'm with you someday.
