Do You Miss Me Poem by Juhaina Shiraz

Do You Miss Me

Rating: 4.7

My heart doth ache with longing deep.
I am but little, shy and lazy too,
yet yearn for sunrise,
all my heart doth pursue.
the moon, a silver crescent in the sky,
doth glimmer bright,
and catches my eye.
I see it late at night,
when world is still,
and wonder, doth it see me,
and my love's thrill?

Oh, how I miss the sunrise and daily breeze,
that brings new light,
and chases all my tease
the world, so full of life and glee,
but without sun,
my heart doth feel so lean
do you miss me, do you?

I THINK you are comparing the 'sun' (that nearby star) to a person who you love. Good luck with THAT! ! ! Don't get 'burned'. **** 4 stars. bri : )

Juhaina, You seem to use 'tease' as a noun and I did not 'get' your meaning. I looked up tease: . COUNTABLE NOUN If you refer to someone as a tease, you mean that they like laughing at people or making jokes about them.' I STILL don't 'get it'.
